A growing encyclopedia of Philippine endangered species.
What initially began as an individual thesis project for the Ateneo de Manila University, Our Endangered PH won a special recognition award for creative sustainable advocacy at the Ateneo Socio-Civic Engagement for National Development (ASCEND) awards.

My Story
Our Endangered PH: Preserve Philippine Wildlife won a Special Recognition Award for Creative Sustainable Advocacy at the Ateneo Socio-Civic Engagement for National Development (ASCEND) Awards and has been featured in Animal Scene Magazine’s November-December 2023 issue and Animal Empathy’s Women’s Month celebration.
OE has collaborated with different local environmental groups and organizations with the likes of Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center, Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center, Buhay Ilang Philippines, Donsol, and Wildlife in Need, across various campaigns for the conservation of Philippine wildlife.
The project has now expanded into a growing atlas showcasing different Philippine threatened, vulnerable, and endangered species from various regions in the country.

But to reach more Filipinos in different provinces, animal awareness is also publicized through the social media accounts of the Center. As this generation is easily reached through social media, pictures, trivia, and storylines from different species of animals are posted daily. This is why the Center openly accepted Marielle Racoma’s project as it will contribute greatly to public awareness that the Center hopes to thrive in.
